With shorter, darker days and far chillier temperatures than we would like, there's no place we would rather be than by the fire with steaming mugs of tea, warm pastries and cosy pajamas; this is Autumn with Piglet!
We opted to dress our table with this gorgeous Dove Grey linen, made from Piglet's signature 100% natural stonewashed French flax, matched with Oatmeal napkins tied with twine and detailed with a sprig of rosemary. It's worth noting that the production of linen is very sustainable, just another reason we love Piglet, as every part of the flax plant can be used and because it is a rotation crop, it is farmed naturally in small batches.
Using Supper Ceramics plates and flat white mugs in varying complementary glazes the table starts to come to life with a combination of glossy greens, matte crystalline and delicate drippy details. In a world full of mass-produced Ikea uniformity, Supper Ceramics' main goal is to create unique items that will be treasured in your home, and in the homes of your friends and loved ones: an ethos we love!
With effortless simplicity and, of course, beauty at the forefront of our breakfast tablescape, The Luna Tumbler was a perfect fit! Our delicate, hand blown glass tumblers sat adjacent to eclectic, purposeful pieces including a sweet silver chamberstick holder paired with a vanilla candle; and more current, but still timeless pieces, such as our artisan Chloe Platter which we served delicious cinnamon buns on.
There's no better way to bring nature to the table than with freshly cut stems and we love bud vases for simple yet effective floral displays. Opting for fragrant eucalyptus, pretty coral dahlias and striking bi-coloured hydrangeas; we used large stone inkwells and Talking Tables Truly Scrumptious glass bud vases, in varying sizes, for their pretty shapes and delicate designs.
Who would've thought we would be matching our pajamas to our table, but with Piglet's range of sleepwear, how could we not?!
